AMG Mylonas & Associates LLC is seeking to recruit an Associate Lawyer for immediate full-time employment at its Limassol office.

The successful candidate will join our growing practice and will be involved in advising local and international clients on a broad range of immigration, real estate and commercial law matters.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Advising local and international clients on Cyprus immigration law matters, including residence permits, employment permits, permanent residency applications, naturalisation and other immigration-related procedures.
• Handling and managing immigration applications before the relevant Cyprus authorities.
• Advising clients on the acquisition, disposal and development of real estate in Cyprus.
• Preparing, reviewing and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements and other real estate documentation.
• Conducting legal due diligence in connection with property acquisitions and commercial transactions.
• Advising on commercial and corporate transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements including Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders' Agreements, Loan Agreements, Service Agreements, Consultancy Agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Providing legal advice on corporate and commercial matters affecting local and international businesses.
• Preparing legal opinions, legal memoranda and client advice.
• Liaising with government authorities, the Department of Lands and Surveys, the Deputy Ministry of Migration and International Protection, the Registrar of Companies and other competent authorities.
• Managing client files independently and maintaining direct communication with clients throughout each matter.
• Assisting partners with transactional, regulatory and advisory work across the firm's practice areas.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate should possess:

• Law Degree from a recognised university.
• Membership of the Cyprus Bar Association.
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in Immigration, Real Estate and Commercial Law.
• Excellent knowledge of Cyprus immigration procedures and property transactions.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English (written and spoken).
• Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Professional, client-focused and commercially minded approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience working with international clients and cross-border matters will be considered an advantage. Litigation experience will also be considered an advantage.
