Georgia holds an LLB from the University of London, an MSc in European Policy, Law and Management from The Robert Gordon University, and a BA (Hons) in Political Science & Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Georgia Onoufriou is Counsel and Advocate specialising in corporate and commercial law, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. She advises domestic and international clients on complex corporate structuring, reorganisations, shareholder arrangements, commercial contracts and transactional matters, as well as the establishment and supervision of governance and compliance frameworks, including data protection and GDPR.
She has extensive experience in the corporate and fiduciary services sector, having held senior leadership roles over a number of years. This background provides her with a strong commercial and operational understanding of corporate structures, enabling her to advise on sophisticated cross-border arrangements with clarity and precision.
In addition to her practice, Georgia served for many years as an accredited legal instructor, contributing to professional training and development within the legal sector. Her academic involvement underscores the depth of her technical knowledge and her commitment to professional excellence.
She is recognised for combining regulatory insight with pragmatic business-oriented advice, assisting corporate groups, entrepreneurs and private clients in navigating complex regulatory and governance environments.
Georgia is also an HRDA-accredited trainer and legal educator, delivering specialised programmes in company law and preparation courses for the Cyprus Bar Examinations. She is a registered Family Dispute Mediator, offering structured alternative dispute resolution services.
