Maria holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. (Hons)) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Kent.
Maria is an Advocate and Corporate Team Leader of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department. She leads the corporate practice, overseeing complex structuring, administration and reorganisations across multiple jurisdictions.
She advises on complex cross-border corporate structures, shipping entities and regulated investment vehicles, ensuring full compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. Her practice includes the structuring and ongoing legal support of shipping companies, special purpose vehicles and regulated funds.
Maria plays a key role in maintaining high standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance, supervising sophisticated corporate transactions and multi-jurisdictional structures.
In addition, Maria advises private clients on relocation strategies, cross-border structuring and private investment matters, assisting entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and family-owned businesses in structuring their affairs efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
