The Permit
- The Pink Slip in Cyprus is a type of Temporary Residence Permit designed for non-EU nationals who wish to reside in Cyprus for long-term stays without employment.
- Holders are not permitted to work under this permit.
- To maintain the permit’s validity, applicants must not stay outside Cyprus for more than three consecutive months.
- The Pink Slip is valid for one year and can be renewed annually, provided all legal and financial requirements continue to be met.

- The applicant is required to show adequate income from abroad to cover living expenses while residing in Cyprus (annual income €24,000 for a single applicant (to have an extra 20% for the spouse and 15% for each child).
- Rental agreement or title deed.
- Health insurance.
- Medical exams.
- Bank guarantee for Bank in Cyprus, one for each family member.
Application processing time
- The processing time for the Temporary Residence Permit is approximately six months. During this time, applicants are allowed to legally remain in Cyprus.
