Annual Levy | Companies’ annual company fee abolished as of 2024

9 April 2024

We are pleased to announce that, effective from 2024, the annual registration fee of €350 for companies registered with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver has been abolished. This decision, passed by the House of Representatives on 29 February 2024, reflects the government’s commitment to support the business environment in Cyprus.

Companies that have already paid the fee for 2024 will receive a refund. For payments made online via JCC, refunds will be automatically processed to the original payment card. For payments made at the Treasury of the Department of Registrar of Companies, refunds will be issued to the applicant’s bank account upon submission of the necessary documents.

Please note that the requirement to pay annual fees for the years 2011 to 2023 remains in effect, with applicable penalties for late payments. This change is part of a broader suite of economic measures designed to enhance the competitiveness of Cyprus as a business hub.
